Mark Pare

Mark Pare

Mark Pare made the trip to Kitchener-Waterloo, all the way from our sister station --- and his hometown --- in Timmins. He is a journalism graduate of Canadore College in North Bay in 2011. Later that summer, he hopped right into the field by working with Village Media, Bleacher Report and in October 2012, began his career with Rogers Media in North Bay. Since then, he has taken on many volunteer opportunities and has even been behind the mic for numerous sports broadcasts including hundreds of games in the Northern Ontario Junior "A" Hockey League and the OHL's North Bay Battalion. Mark is a huge advocate of being involved in his community, so don't be surprised to see him floating around in his spare time. Otherwise, Mark is a big supporter of the Maple Leafs (was baptized by former Stanley Cup Champion Father Les Costello), Blue Jays, Raptors and the New England Patriots.
