We can't be together because of the pandemic, but we can still Prost from afar!
That's the message behind this year's altered K-W Oktoberfest.
Opening ceremonies were held at the Region of Waterloo International Airport on Friday, but there was no crowd.
Instead, it was broadcast virtually.
It featured a brief message from Ontario Premier Doug Ford - who encouraged everyone to enjoy themselves, but stressed it needs to be done safely and responsibly due to COVID-19.
The keg also made a grand entrance this year, as it was brought in by helicopter.
