Driver knocks over pole in Kitchener, charged with impaired driving

A 36-year-old Guelph resident faces charges after a single vehicle crash in Kitchener.

Regional Police say it happened at the intersection of West Avenue and Highland Road West around 11:50 p.m. on Friday.

Officers arrived after reports that a vehicle struck and knocked over a pole.

The driver was arrested and faces various impaired driving charges.

No injuries were reported.
