There will be plenty of future flyers at the Region of Waterloo International Airport on Saturday, August 17.
The airport will host its fifth annual Aviation Fun Day from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
You can explore the airport on foot at the free family event.
Those attending can get up close to airport equipment, vintage planes and learn how the aviation industry works.
All they ask is that you bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank and The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
Over 3,100 pounds of food was collected last year.
You can find more information here.
Our friends at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum @CWHM will be joining us for Aviation Fun Day on Saturday at @FlyYKF with their Douglas DC-3 Dakota! The event will have activities for the whole family and will be running from 10AM to 4PM. Will we see you there? pic.twitter.com/y7Qz3TEFZI— Waterloo Warbirds (@WaterlooWarbird) August 13, 2019
