Even with no players on the ice, the Kitchener Rangers organization is looking to make a difference in the community.

Just over $6,800 has been donated to the Waterloo-Wellington chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association.

The money was raised by the Rangers, in collaboration with Rangers Reach, through a face mask campaign and a 50/50 raffle.

In a release, the team's Chief Operating Officer and Governor Joe Birch said "we’re committed to stopping the spread of COVID-19 while also helping the CMHA provide mental health support during the current pandemic."
