Waterloo Knights of Columbus is thrilled to continue with its “New Toys for Needy Kids” Toy Drive. Since starting more than 20 years ago, the annual toy drive – billed as the largest in Waterloo Region – has collected more than $5-million in toys and donations. Volunteers collect and distribute toys to children in need at Christmas and the Waterloo Knights say they're determined to ensure every child in need receives a gift. Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU) has partnered with Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region to support the ‘She is Your Neighbour’ fundraising campaign. There has been a 30% increase in domestic violence reported since the pandemic began. This holiday season, help women and children create a new beginning free from violence. Donate a gift card from a major retailer before December 18 and receive a gift from YNCU (while quantities last).
