Worker from Holland dies in farm accident near Conestoga Lake

DRAYTON, Ont. — A worker from Holland died in a farm accident in southwestern Ontario on Thursday afternoon.

Provincial police say the 24-year-old farmhand was found unresponsive in an underground holding tank at about 4 p.m. on a farm northwest of Guelph near the Conestogo Lake Conservation Area.

The man was pronounced dead at scene.

The Ministry of Labour has been called in to help investigate the cause of the accident.
