An investigation is underway after several thumb tacks and sewing needles were found spread out at Southside Park playground in Woodstock.

The Woodstock Parks and Recreation Department issued a warning this week, saying the park is closed and are asking park goers to be extra careful.

They say this is the second act of vandalism in the park with "intent to injure."

In early August, Police were called after nails were spread throughout the cricket pitch and nearby playing area.
