Sewing needles found in Woodstock dog park

It's happened twice in the last 24 hours

Dog owners in Woodstock are asked to be extra careful.

It comes after sewing needles were found in the Henry Street Dog Park. 

Woodstock Police first responded Thursday night and found multiple needles. Staff returned Friday morning, and discovered even more. 

Police continue to investigate.

"This is an active ongoing investigation that Woodstock Police Service is taking every effort to ensure the safety of children and animals in our community. Please continue to be careful in public areas and report any findings of sharps to the Woodstock Police Service immediately," said Woodstock Police in a release.
