Police in Woodstock estimate about 80 people turned up to a rally Sunday afternoon to protest COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

While police said the event itself was peaceful "and all necessary precautiuons were taken to ensure public safety for those involed in the rally and the citizens of Woodstock," they are actively investigating any infractions related to COVID-19.

The protest saw participants rally at Museum Square and march in the downtown area, where most businesses were closed.

A warning was also issued for a traffic-related violation.
