Provincial police have arrested a male after negotiators had to be called in overnight in Tavistock.
Oxford County OPP didn't provide a timeline on when this all began, but say in an email that it came in just before midnight, after an ongoing investigation related to a threat led to the containment of a home on Woodstock Street North in that town.
Members of the West Region Emergency Response Team, West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, West Region Canine and Crisis Negotiators were called in as well.
A male was arrested Tuesday morning around 3:10 a.m. without incident. He is being held for a bail hearing in Woodstock.
They had roadways closed as a result of the incident, but those have since re-opened.
You can expect a police presence in the general area, as the investigation continues.
