Guelph teens face multiple charges after allegedly throwing rocks into traffic

Two teenagers in Guelph are facing multiple charges after allegedly throwing rocks off a bridge into oncoming traffic. 

The incident took place around 7 p.m. Friday evening. Guelph Police received several calls in regards to rocks being thrown off a bridge at Paisley Road, near the Hanlon Expressway.

"We attended to the area and with the assistance of the public we were able to arrest two parties, a 15 year old male youth and a 19-year old male," Josh Fraser, Guelph Police Public Information Officer, told 570 News.

The teens are facing five counts of mischief, endangering life as well as obstructing police.

One of the victims was a 38-year old pregnant woman who had damage done to her vehicle.

Other vehicles also had extensive damage. Fraser says there were no injuries reported.
