A popular Millbank area bakery and restaurant reopened Tuesday morning.

Anna Mae's was shut down by the local public health unit after an employee tested positive for COVID-19 last week.

They have since updated their COVID-19 policy and signage, implemented an enhanced daily staff screening tool and asked for further training for employees from the health unit.

On top of that, the restaurant says they have "created a take-home package for our staff with important information on COVID-19 symptoms, face masks, physical distancing, self monitoring & self isolating, hand washing, and how to stop the spread."

Since May, the business has also hired a "sanitizer" worker who’s sole purpose is to sanitize all areas of the building.
