Regional police are investigating a series of incidents that occurred in Wellesley and Woolwich Township on September 8.

On September 8 at 9 p.m., police responded to a break and enter on Ament Line in Wellesley Township. Police say unknown suspects allegedly used a vehicle to enter a business and steal property.

Later that evening, officials responded to a report of another break and enter at Reid Woods Drive in Woolwich Township. An abandoned vehicle was found at the scene.

The caller told police they observed an unknown vehicle drive up the lane way of a business on Line 86, but saw no individuals when they went to inspect the area.

When the caller returned home, they allege an unknown man exited their house and threatened them with a torch. The suspect allegedly stole the victim's keys, along with personal property, and fled in the victim's Ford Escape. No physical injuries were reported from this incident or the other occurrences.

Upon further investigation, officials believe the suspect (or suspects) may have attempted to steal two additional vehicles at the business on Line 86. Police also believe these incidents are related and an investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 extension 8291 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
