Two arrested following disturbance at Waterloo apartment

Two people have been arrested in connection with a disturbance call at a Waterloo apartment.

Police were called to the building on Columbia Street West around 11 a.m. on Sunday.

They allege two men attempted to force their way into an apartment and threaten the victim with a flare gun and knife.

Officers located and arrested the suspects at the scene.

A 20-year-old Kitchener man and 21-year-old man from Waterloo are facing numerous charges including attempted break, enter with intent to commit, weapons dangerous and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
