Truck fire leads police to stolen vehicles in New Dundee

An investigation is ongoing after Regional Police located a pick up truck on fire, along with stolen vehicles at a nearby parking lot.

Police were called to the intersection of Oxford Waterloo Road and Queen Street in New Dundee around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, and located a pick up truck in the ditch and on fire.

It also led to the discovery of a pick up truck towing a trailer and motorcycle in the parking lot of the New Dundee Community Centre.

Police say those vehicles were damaged and suspected to be stolen.

Police say they are working out where the vehicles originated from, and are asking the public for information.

There are no suspects at this time.
