Purple fentanyl, Percocet pills, found with two Kitchener men

Police say both suspects are being arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking

Two men are facing charges following the discovery of suspected purple fentanyl and Percocet pills during an investigation.

Police say it happened on Thursday evening along Queens Boulevard in Kitchener. 

During an investigation, officials seized suspected purple fentanyl valued at $38,000 along with numerous Percocet pills along with over $1700 in cash.

A 21-year-old and 30-year-old man from Kitchener are both being charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. The 21-year-old suspect is also being charged with four counts of Breach of Recognizance. 

The arrest was made possible by members of the WRPS Robbery Team and the Central Oriented Response Enforcement (CORE) team.
