Police seize drugs during traffic stop

A 41-year-old man is facing a long list of charges

On May 21, 2020, at approximately 10:40 a.m., members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Central Community Oriented Response and Enforcement (CORE)Team conducted a traffic stop for a driving violation on Woodside Avenue in Kitchener.

As a result of the investigation a 41-year-old Kitchener male was arrested and charged for driving while under suspension and seven counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Police seized approximately 13.81 grams of suspected Fentanyl, 7.2 grams of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine, 63.16 grams of suspected Marihuana, 5.98 grams suspected Heroin, 12.7 grams suspected crack cocaine, 3 suspected Dilaudid pills, 3 suspected MDMA pills, cellphone and more than $8000 in Canadian currency.
