Waterloo Regional Police are no longer investigating hazing allegations made by a former player with the Kitchener Rangers.
A police spokesperson confirmed to 570 NEWS on Wednesday, Eric Guest told police he does not wish to proceed with a criminal investigation.
In June, Guest took to social media, making a claim of forced drug use during a team party when he was in his rookie season.
The Rangers said they were first made aware of the allegations when Guest posted the video to Instagram.
They then contacted Waterloo Regional Police, asking they launch an investigation.
Ontario Hockey League officials also announced they would be conducting their own probe into the allegations made by Guest.
A league spokesperson said Wednesday afternoon that the investigation has not been completed yet.
Guest, who's 20, played three seasons with the team.
