Police make pair of arrests in stolen vehicle investigation

Two residents of St. Jacobs have been arrested in connection with a month-long investigation into several stolen vehicles.

One of the vehicles was involved in a collision, as well, one of the suspects was wanted in a break and enter.

The Break, Enter and Auto Theft (BEAT) unit made the arrests in St. Clements on Thursday.

A 29-year-old woman and 32-year-old man are facing charges including possession of identity documents and possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.   

The male is also charged with break and enter, forgery and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.
