Police make arrest following series of break and enters

They happened throughout Kitchener over the weekend

Police have made an arrest following four break and enters throughout Kitchener over the weekend.

They happened at residences on Fergus Avenue, Scenic Wood Crescent and Filbert Street.

During one of the incidents, a vehicle was stolen from a home and was observed fleeing the area at a high rate of speed.

Officers later found that vehicle abandoned, following a crash at Victoria Street North and Lancaster Street West.

After an extensive search, a suspect was arrested.

A 20-year-old Kitchener man faces numerous charges including break and enter, as well as dangerous driving.
