Police looking for person peering in windows in Waterloo

Two incidents were called in early Friday morning

Waterloo Regional Police are on the lookout for a prowler in Waterloo.

Police received several calls about a person peering through bedrooms of a residence.

One of the reported incidents was in the Fir and Spruce Street area around 2:30 a.m.

Just before 1 a.m., police also received a report regarding similar behaviour.

The suspect is described as 5 '10", and was wearing all black clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-570-9777, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Residents are also being reminded to lock all windows and doors, and notify police of any suspicious activity.
