Police looking for car that took off after crash

Waterloo Regional Police are on the lookout for a vehicle that allegedly took off from a collision scene in Kitchener.

The crash, involving a motorcyle and car, happened just before 3 p.m. Wednesday at King Street East and Tu-Lane Street.

Police say the motorcycle was travelling west on King St., when the vehicle allegedly turned left into the path of the motorcycle.

The 70-year-old man, operating the motorcycle, was taken to hospital.

The car police are looking for is described as a 2000-2005, Pontiac Sunfire, 4-door, silver or gold/tan in colour.
