Regional Police are on scene in North Dumfries for what they're calling an "active police investigation."
Police say it centres around Brant-Waterloo Road, at Reidsville Road.
Brant County OPP sent an officer to the scene, and confirmed to 570 NEWS a vehicle reported stolen from Waterloo Region struck a hydro pole.
Police say the vehicle caught fire as a result of the crash.
However, when police arrived, a driver was not located.
For now, police have closed the area, and are asking motorists to find an alternate.
