Police investigating alleged sexual assault

Two women said they were inappropriately touched by a man on St. Leger Street in Kitchener on Monday afternoon

Waterloo Regional Police are looking for a suspect following a reported sexual assault.

It happened shortly after 3 p.m. on St. Leger Street in Kitchener.

Two women told police they were touched inappropriately by a man while they were walking in the area.

Police describe the suspect as white, around 5 '11" in height, 130 to 150 pounds with a thin build.

He was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, plus baggy tan pants.

Anyone who has information is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. 

Police are also reminding the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious persons or activity to police.
