A local driver is facing several charges after being pulled over while police were conducting speed enforcement.
It was just before 9:30 p.m. Friday, in the area of Fischer-Hallman and Cotton Grass Street in Kitchener, where members of the traffic unit allegedly observed a vehicle travelling 109 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
When the vehicle was pulled over, officers also noticed none of the passengers were wearing seatbelts.
They also located a passenger in the trunk.
A 22-year-old Kitchener woman has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, stunt driving and speeding.
The driver was also issued a three day licence suspension for having a blood alcohol concentration in the warn range and the vehicle was impounded.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court in March.
