What was orginally a traffic stop due to speeding, has turned into a lot more charges for a Cambridge man.
On Tuesday evening, police allegedly nabbed a vehicle travelling over 90 km/h in a 50 km/h community safety zone on Blair Road.
Police say while speaking with the driver, 33 cannabis plants were observed within the vehicle.
As a result, a 64-year-old man has been charged with the following:
- Possession of more than four cannabis plants in a public place
- Cannabis readily available to the driver
- Failing to surrender an insurance card
