There's a happy ending to a story, first reported at the end of January.
Waterloo Regional Police say a woman, who dropped an envelope of cash at the Scotiabank on Doon Village Road in Kitchener, got her money back.
The cash was turned in by a man at WRPS' Central Division on Wednesday.
It was after police published a photo on social media, asking residents for assistance in identifying a man who was possibly connected to the incident.
No charges will be laid.
Police are also thanking members of the public for their assistance.
