A charge has been laid following a road rage incident in Kitchener earlier this month.

It happened the afternoon of July 2, in the area of Wilson Avenue and Goodrich Drive.

Police allege a man tossed an object at the victim's vehicle while travelling on Wilson.

The man then pulled over, exited his vehicle and approached the victim, who had stopped after their vehicle was hit by the object.

The suspect then punched the victim's window, demanding the driver get out, even going so far to try and open a door, but the vehicle was locked.

Police say, at that point, the accused spat on a window before fleeing the area in his vehicle.

As a result of the investigation, a 39-year-old Cambridge man is now facing an assault charge.
