A hang glider pilot sustained minor injuries after crashing into some trees near Elmira on Monday.
A Royal Canadian Airforce Griffon helicopter from Trenton was called into action to get the stranded pilot out of the trees.
They used a hoist to retrieve the pilot who was then transported to hospital by ambulance.
Yesterday, an @RCAF_ARC Griffon helicopter from 424 Sqn and its crew rescued a hang glider pilot stuck in trees near Elmira, Ont. #SAR Techs were inserted via night hoist.
