Graffiti containing slur found on apartment door in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a report of graffiti located on a residence in Waterloo. 

On July 31, 2021, at approximately 1:10 p.m., police received a report that a slur had been spray-painted on an apartment door in the area of University Avenue West and Lester Street. 

The investigation is ongoing by members of Waterloo Regional Police Service's General Investigations Unit, Hate Crimes Unit, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Unit, and Forensic Identification Unit.
