E-bike rider suffers serious injuries in North Dumfries collision

A 19-year-old Cambridge man is in a Hamilton hospital with serious injuries following a collision in North Dumfries Township.

It happened just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, in the area of Roseville Road and Kings Road.

The Cambridge man was riding an e-bike at the time. Police allege the e-bike was struck by a vehicle, being operated by a 31-year-old Kitchener man. The vehicle was travelling west on Roseville.

Police also say charges are pending.

Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call police at 519-570-9777.

The road was closed for several hours for the investigation, but has since reopened.
