Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a two-vehicle crash in Cambridge.

It happened Thursday afternoon on Hespeler Road, between Kossuth and Guelph Avenue.

Police confirmed it involved a car and a transport truck. The driver of the car, a 24-year-old man from Guelph, was airlifted to an out-of-town hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The 27-year-old man driving the transport truck, also from Guelph, was not injured.

Several roadways in the vicinity were shut down for hours for the investigation, which involved the deployment of a police drone.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call WRPS or Crime Stoppers.
