Charges pending after truck hits residence in Cambridge

The driver was taken to an out-of-town hospital with serious injuries

Charges are pending after a vehicle crashed into a residence in Cambridge on Monday afternoon.

Police said it happened in the Barrie Lane and Churchill Drive area shortly after 1:30 p.m.

It's alleged a blue Dodge pick-up truck left the roadway and struck the dwelling, causing extensive damage.

The driver, a 47-year-old Cambridge man, was taken to an out-of-town hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

No one inside the residence was hurt.

Police continue to investigate.
