Car ends up partially submerged in water following crash

Waterloo Regional Police say a car ended up partially submerged in a body of water after a single vehicle crash in Cambridge.

It happened just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Gore Road and Townline Road.

Police say the driver, a 23-year-old Cambridge man, suffered minor injuries.

They also say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The area was closed over two hours while investigators were on scene.
