Cambridge resident facing charges after multiple vehicles entered in Brant County

A member of the County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) where alerted by a concerned citizen about 2 people going through cars on West Street in St George in the County of Brant at approximately 2:00 a.m. on July 20, 2019.

Police attended and conducted an investigation.

Police have arrested and charged Benn WITTEVEEN 24-years-old of Cambridge, Ontario and Kiearha MACDONALD 21-years-old of Guelph Ontario with the following offences contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada:
 

  • Possession of stolen property valued under $5000 x 3
  • Theft under $5000 
  • Obstructing a police officer
  • Trespassing at night
  • Failing to comply with a probation order

Both involved parties will appear in Brantford Court at a later date to answer to their charges.
