Cambridge man arrested for drug possession

The 35-year-old man was wanted on a warrant, and was allegedly found with nearly $4K worth of drugs

Regional police responded to the area of Ainslie Street and Parkhill Drive in Cambridge Wednesday afternoon.

A 35-year-old Cambridge man was wanted on a warrant, and was subsequently arrested.

Police say they seized around $800 in suspected fentanyl, $400 in suspected crystal methamphetamine, and $2,500 in suspected hydromorphone pills.

A knife and cash were also found during the arrest, according to the police report.

The man has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
