Bomb threat at GRH results in arrest

Police say nobody was hurt, and there was no explosive device

A 57-year-old Kitchener woman has been arrested after an alarming incident at Grand River Hospital.

Waterloo Regional Regional Police say around 6:30 p.m. Monday, they were called to GRH after someone claimed to be in possession of a bomb in the emergency department.

Police say they made an arrest when they arrived.

A woman faces charges of uttering threats and attempt robbery.

Police say nobody was hurt, and there was no explosive device.
