A Hamilton man is facing a long list of charges following nine separate collisions in Waterloo Region over the weekend.
Police got a call on Saturday afternoon about a man driving a vehicle erratically, carrying a knife and uttering threats at people.
Officers determined the vehicle was stolen and that six of the nine crashes involved police vehicles. It's estimated over $50,000 in property damage was caused.
An officer also suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
The suspect vehicle was located on Madison Avenue South in Kitchener, after getting stuck on railway tracks. A man was then taken into custody.
A 44-year-old man faces charges including six counts of uttering threats to cause death, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, mischief over $5,000 and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.
