$500K worth of stolen tires recovered by police

They were originally in a trailer stolen from a transport company in Cambridge

Waterloo Regional Police have recovered $500,000 worth of Pirelli winter tires, stolen from a transport company in Cambridge.

The tires were located after police executed a search warrant at a storage facility in North York on Wednesday.

A truck and trailer, which contained the tires, was stolen back in May.

No one has been arrested yet, but police say their investigation is ongoing.
