For the first time since capturing their last Sutherland Cup in 1994, the Waterloo Siskins have made it to the final two in the GOJHL.

They will face the London Nationals in the championship series after defeating Niagara Falls 3-1 in Game 6 of their semi-final series Sunday afternoon.

Goaltender Matt Onuska made his return to the lineup after missing a game due to an injury sustained in Game 4.

He made 35 saves in the win.

Sam Cherry scored twice, including an empty netter.  Joseph Serpa scored the other Siskins tally.

The Nationals advanced following a six-game series win over Listowel.

The GOJHL Championship opens Thursday in London.
