The Kitchener Rangers have inked American forward Declan McDonnell to a standard OHL player agreement.
McDonnell, who is 17, was the third round pick of Kitchener in the 2018 draft.
The Lake View, New York native played for the Buffalo Junior Sabres last season, where he registered 18 goals and 31 assists in 54 games.
Rangers General Manager Mike McKenzie describes McDonnell as a skilled and smart player, with a very high complete level and a great shot.
"He has used these attributes to produce at every level and we look forward to continuing to see him do that in a Kitchener Rangers uniform." McKenzie said in a release.
McDonnell is listed at 5 '10" and 175 pounds.
