The Kitchener Rangers have put pen to paper with American defenceman, Simon Motew.
On Tuesday, the team announced Motew has signed a standard player agreement.
During the 2018-19 season, the Highland Park, Illinois native put up 13 points in 20 games with the Chicago Mission 15's.
Motew was a fourth round pick of the Rangers (75th overall) during the 2019 OHL draft.
"We're happy to welcome Simon and his entire family into our Kitchener Rangers family," Rangers General Manager, Mike McKenzie said in a release. "We look forward to seeing him as a member of our team and the strides he will make during his OHL career."
The Rangers held their annual spring camp on the Easter weekend.
