The Golden Hawks struck gold on the pebbled ice in Guelph on Monday.
The men's curling team from Laurier won their fourth OUA Championship in six years after beating Brock 7-3 in the finals.
It was an overall dominant weekend for the side led by Kitchener's Matt Hall, out scoring the competition 77-25 through the 10 games played over the weekend.
Meantime, the women's team had reason to celebrate too, beating the host Guelph Gryphons 8-1 in five ends to capture bronze.
It's their fifth OUA medal in the last seven years.
Both sides qualify for the U Sports/Curling Canada Championships in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba from March 11-15.
