Kitchener's Luke Bignell has committed to the University of Guelph Gryphons hockey club for the 2021-22 season.
The 20-year-old is currently captain of the OHL's Barrie Colts.
During the 2019-20 campaign, Bignell put up a career high 37 points in 54 games.
The OHL is still working with the provincial government in the hopes they can get a shortened season in this spring.
