It's a move many likely saw coming, but the Intercounty Baseball League has officially pulled the plug on their 2020 campaign due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This will be the first time in the over 100-year history the IBL has come off the field.

Earlier this year, three teams, including the Kitchener Panthers, indicated that even with an abbreviated season, they would not field a team.
