Many parents in Waterloo Region now have a little extra time to make up their minds ahead of the first day of school.
The public school board has extended the deadline to complete its Confirmation of Attendance Form.
The purpose is to let the board know if you'll be sending your child back to school full-time for in-person instruction, or if you're opting for remote learning instead.
Initially, forms needed to be completed by Tuesday, but it's now been pushed back to Thursday at 4 p.m.
The WRDSB also stressed that families are allowed to change their minds down the road, but for now, it's just looking for these details to prepare for September 8.
The Catholic board is asking families to fill out its online form by Monday.
