Wilfrid Laurier University is looking for writers to submit their work for a chance to win the 2020 Edna Staebler Award for Creative Non-Fiction.
The $10,000 literary award aims to celebrate the work of creative non-fiction writers that focus on Canadian themes.
The award, established in 1991, is accepting work published in 2019 that uses first-hand research, well-crafted interpretive writing and a creative use of language.
Entries for the Edna Staebler Award must be received by April 1.
A winner will be announced in September and the award will be presented to them at Laurier's Waterloo and Brantford campuses later that fall.
An entry form and full list of submission guidelines can be found here.
