The Walmart store on Bridgeport Road in Waterloo welcomed customers back on Thursday.

It was one of three stores severely damaged by fires that were deliberately set, all within one hour the evening of October 20.

The damage tally for all three fires was $12 million.

The Kitchener-Stanley Park store, located at 1005 Ottawa Street North, will reopen on Friday.

A spokesperson for Walmart tells 570 NEWS the stores are not 100 per cent fully stocked, but they wanted to welcome customers back as soon as possible, adding their teams have been working countless hours to get the stores ready.

The Kitchener Supercentre store (at the Sunrise Centre), remains closed, but they anticipate it will be back open in the coming weeks.

A 21-year-old man from Paris and a young person are facing charges in connection with the three fires.
