The University of Waterloo is warning of a phishing scam.

Some staff, students, and faculty at UW reportedly received an email this week called '2020 COVID-19 Giveaway'.

The fraudsters made it look like a registration form and ask for details like your name, address, and credit card information.

If you get one of these emails - do not reply to it, and don't click on any of the links.

The university is encouraging the community to be vigilant as phishing scams have become more prevalent during the pandemic.
